Thats it then

Today was the end of the Christmas season for us, the decorations have come down and the tree has been cut up and put in the brown bin, you know the one for all your green garden waste. The house always looks so bare after all the cards, candles, cans of beers and chocolates are gone.Carl and I went to London this afternoon, no reason other than we love our capital city and its only 50 minutes away by car. Parked up just around the Lancaster Gate area and took a brisk walk into the West End which took around an hour. Starting through Kensington Gardens, then through Hyde Park finishing at Park Lane Piccadilly end. With camera in hand shots were taken along the way. I have started a 365 Photographic project which basically means everyday this year I take a picture and post it up ( the pictures can be found on Flickr or on my website ) and London gives you plenty of opportunity for great pictures. Coffee at Starbucks and beer at the Porter House, Covent Garden completed the day, then home for tea.

Sunday is our last day before the full routine starts all over again for another year, work, home, sleep, weekend, work, home, sleep, weekend. But we will have a great holiday at sometime this year and we are much better off than a very large majority of the world, so must not moan too much….chin up, positive, bring on 2010
